These Terms apply to everyone who plays on JSEmu / H1Emu servers or makes a donation or purchase on jsemu.eu, building on the core terms shown and accepted in the launcher before you log in.

By launching the JSEmu launcher, creating an account, making a donation or purchase on jsemu.eu, or otherwise accessing and playing on JSEmu / H1Emu servers, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must stop using the game, our website and our services.
JSEmu is an independent, community-run fan project based on H1Z1: Just Survive. It is free to play. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Daybreak Game Company or any other past or present rights holder of H1Z1. All original game assets remain the property of their respective owners.
Donations and purchases on jsemu.eu are used to pay for servers, infrastructure and development of the project.
The only version of H1Z1: Just Survive that this project supports is the 22nd December 2016 client. You must use this version to ensure that everything works correctly and as intended.
While using our services, you agree not to cheat, exploit bugs or vulnerabilities, harass or discriminate against other players or staff, share or sell accounts, or attempt to disrupt the servers. Staff decide how the rules are enforced in the game; you can appeal any decision through our Discord support tickets.
To maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for all players, our servers use the Fairplay anti-cheat software. Fairplay runs concurrently with the game to prevent and detect the use of unauthorized third-party programs that provide unfair advantages. By playing the game, you acknowledge and agree that Fairplay may collect, process, and store the following information:
The data collected by Fairplay is used solely for the purpose of maintaining a fair gaming environment by identifying and acting upon cheating behavior. We are committed to taking swift actions, including issuing bans where necessary, to ensure fairness in the game.
You have the right to stop the collection of this data at any time by closing the game. Fairplay will cease to collect any information about your system, running programs, or any other data once the game is closed.
You may only make a donation or purchase if you are an adult, or if your parent or legal guardian has agreed to it and to these Terms. Parents and guardians are responsible for payments made by minors in their care. If a payment was made without such consent, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. The price, any taxes, and exactly what you receive are shown on the donation page and in the Stripe checkout before you pay. That description is what you are buying.
At the moment a Donator donation grants the Donator role on our Discord server and a one-time amount of JSEmu Coins on the account it was bought for. The Donator role does not expire. Donating again grants the Coins again, but does not create a second role. If you buy for a friend (gift), the perks go to the account you chose and the purchase is treated as yours.
Perks are delivered automatically after payment. If you have not received them within 48 hours, contact us through a Discord support ticket and we will either deliver them or refund your payment.
JSEmu Coins, crates, skins and any other virtual items are a limited, personal licence to use content inside our game and website. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged or cashed out for real money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the features we provide (such as gifting).
Games of chance on our website use JSEmu Coins only. You can never win real money or anything of real-world value with them, and their results cannot be cashed out.
We may rebalance, change or retire virtual items and store offers. This does not affect perks you have already received, except as described in sections 12 and 13.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Our perks are digital content that is delivered immediately. Before you pay, you are asked to request immediate delivery and to confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has started. If the perks have not been delivered, you keep your right of withdrawal.
Apart from the right of withdrawal described above, we refund payments when perks could not be delivered, when you were charged by mistake (for example a duplicate payment), and in any other case where the law requires it. Other refund requests are decided case by case. To ask for a refund, open a Discord support ticket.
If a payment is reversed through a chargeback or dispute, the perks bought with it may be removed. Please contact us before opening a dispute, so that we can resolve the problem directly. This never limits any right you have under the law or with your bank.
We may warn, restrict, suspend or ban accounts that break these Terms or the server rules. The action depends on how serious the violation is, and we may act without warning in serious cases such as cheating. A suspended or banned account cannot use its characters, inventory, Coins or store items while the ban lasts. Bans can be appealed through our Discord support tickets.
Paid perks are not refunded when an account is banned for breaking the rules. This does not affect any right you have under mandatory consumer law.
The game servers are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, performance, or that every feature will always be available, and we may change, pause or end parts of the service. Planned maintenance and wipes are announced on our Discord.
If we decide to shut down the project permanently, we will announce it on our Discord at least 30 days in advance where reasonably possible.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of in-game progress, items or Coins caused by downtime, bugs, wipes or the end of the service. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are a small community team, and we commit to being transparent and fair in our use of your data. Our aim is to protect the integrity of the game and ensure a level playing field for all players.
We may update these Terms. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page, and important changes are announced on our Discord. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the updated Terms. Changes never take away perks you have already paid for and received.
